Celebrating Dedication: Honouring Long-Serving Staff Across the Trust
Central Learning Partnership Trust have recently marked a special occasion by recognising and celebrating the remarkable dedication of its long-serving staff members—those who have committed 25 years and 35 years or more to supporting pupils, colleagues, and their wider school communities. These individuals embody the ethos of the Trust, demonstrating loyalty, resilience, and an enduring passion for education.
At the heart of the celebrations was a series of visits to schools by Rob Turton, Director, and Georgetta Holloway OBE, Chief Executive, who personally presented awards and expressed their heartfelt appreciation. Their visits were an opportunity not only to honour individual achievements but also to highlight the collective strength and continuity that long-serving staff bring to the Trust.
A Legacy of Commitment
Among the outstanding individuals recognised was Mr Selkirk, Founder of CLPT, who is currently in his 50th year of service at Heath Park School. His career stands as a testament to lifelong commitment in education—supporting generations of students, mentoring colleagues, and playing a vital role in shaping the culture and success of the Trust and our schools.
Mr Selkirk’s remarkable milestone is not only a personal achievement but also an inspiration to others across the Trust. His story reflects the profound and lasting impact that experienced educators have, building relationships and traditions that span decades.
Recognising 25+ Years of Service
Alongside Mr Selkirk, numerous staff members across the Trust were celebrated for achieving 25 years and 35 or more years of service. Each of these individuals has contributed significantly in their own way—whether through teaching, leadership, support roles, or pastoral care. Their commitment has ensured consistency and excellence in education, working as part of a team to create a positive and nurturing environment for students to thrive.
