Angham Ahmed

Angham Ahmed is a proud Rotherham resident, having lived in the area for 27 years and maintaining a strong connection to her community. After graduating from Clifton School, she began a career dedicated to serving the people of Rotherham and has spent over 15 years working within the charity care sector.

Throughout her career, Angham has progressed into a Centre Manager role, where she has supported individuals with physical and learning disabilities to lead full, active, and fulfilling lives. She is a passionate advocate for disability rights and is committed to promoting inclusion, working towards a more integrated Rotherham that embraces diversity in culture, ability, and community. Angham proudly serves as an elected Councillor for Rotherham, championing her community and advocating for greater inclusion and opportunity for all residents.

Outside of her professional role, Angham continues to make a meaningful contribution through volunteering, including over 10 years service as a governor at Coleridge Primary Schhol. She supports the local food bank and actively gives her time to community initiatives, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to helping others and strengthening the community she is proud to call home.
